An examination and use of “nation and race” and the “four freedoms” explain the differences between Hitler’s society and Roosevelt’s society. Remember, both believe in freedom, but what does freedom mean to each leader (and each community)? Freedom calls for no exploitation of individuals whereby lawful rights and regulations are observed in line with humanity. However, it is different for most leaders in a position whereby sometimes they have no bit of understanding as they try to dictate to make the societies they are in charge get shaped in the way they want it done. This is not different when both Hitler and Roosevelt’s societies were involved when the two leaders were in position. It is essential to bring out the side of Hitler, whereby he believed that to attain freedom, it was through the means of dictatorship whereby as seen in the context, he brought in inhuman ways to overthrow most of the exploiting people that were blocking his freedom and that of his country. As well seen, he arranged on a genocide that would make the concerned parties inferior in the sense that he brought in the nation and race character in the bigger picture by planning a genocide against the Hiroshima people who were a significant threat to his freedom. The other method the Hitler used to gain his liberty was colonizing the enemy countries involved, which meant that he would have more power and balance in his power since he could now attain his freedom. The Roosevelts story of freedom is quite different from that of Hitler, whereby his ways of achieving freedom were more peaceful than hitters methods. Before any fight between the USA and any enemy country, in most cases, he would sign the congressional declaration that meant that he would use the right lawful steps to make sure that there was peace in the society he ruled. It is important to note that Roosevelt had a way of letting the citizens get their freedom even without fighting for their rights directly by making sure that the society favored them in different ways that mattered hence peace and harmony in the concerned communities.

The American’s life was affected at large, whereby most of the things were not in the norm after the world war kicked in place. It is evident that once there is war in any country, most lives are affected both directly and indirectly. In the instance of the American civilians, most of them had to relocate to other areas they were not aware of running for their safety. It was evident that during world war two, most of the families separated since once there were attacks brought in, everybody had to run for their own lives in any direction they found safe. This is not different from most people losing close friends and the extended families that consisted of relatives since there was no collectivism when there was an unusual destination involved when the world war broke out. Life became miserable for the American civilians since they now got to be in new towns; they were not aware of, and surviving was hard since there were no family members involved to help them out in their day to day survival tactics. Life became more miserable since they were all starting life newly since most of their property was destroyed, that included homes being burnt into ashes and all kind of clashes happening that brought in moving out of the American civilians to new towns that they were not familiar with hence surviving was quite hard on their side. The other issue that affected the lives of the American civilians was on the economic front, whereby most of them lost their jobs since there was a closedown of most companies or workplaces that most people used to work; hence most of the living standards were compromised. To put the government in the bigger picture of providing services to its citizens during such a time was more difficult since most of the people needed the aid; hence there were poor living standards since most of the civilians could not afford most of the day to day services such as food.

The iron curtain entailed the nonphysical boundary that was used to separate Europe into two areas since when the world war two was happening till the end of the cold war that was taking place. The iron curtain entailed a few countries that were used to separate Europe, and they included; Romania and Hungary, which are some of the countries involved in the iron curtain. It also happened that the iron curtain was brought about by the Soviet Union, which was supposed to bring in the safety measures from attacks that would come from the western side of Europe. The iron curtain being put in place would not allow most of the attackers to reach a significant part of Europe during both world war 2two and the cold war that was taking place then in the 19th century. When the iron curtain is put in the bigger picture, there is the likelihood that it brought in paranoia to the concerned parties since the building of the wall brought in a lot of challenges to the Europeans enemies where they could no longer have access to the countries involved in the most natural ways possible. Having this in mind, the creation of fear was more intense and especially when the iron curtain was put in place since most of the people could not get to understand what the Europeans were planning next concerning the world war two in general since the enemies had a fear of losing the fight to the Europeans. More importantly, the iron curtain caused more tension to the enemies of Europe as a continent whereby they had no direct contact with the nations whereby once the iron curtain was put in place, its primary importance was to make sure that the countries involved hid and sheltered themselves from the enemy for obvious reasons that are well known whereby they did not want to lose the battle to its enemies. Having all this in place, it’s clear that the iron curtain brought in a lot of tension to its enemies since it caught them off-guard on how they would have made a shelter that most people would not understand how it came to be in such short notice however much it was nonphysical. There was the need to bring in the iron curtain for obvious reasons whereby the concerned countries would lose the war if there were n measures enacted such as bringing in the iron curtain in place to shield Europe as a whole from the dangers that would come along with both the world war two and the cold war.
