Question 1: Impact of Technology on Family Life
Although technology has influenced various aspects of the economy positively, it has had adverse effects on family dynamics. The use of technological devices has reduced social interactions in family settings and caused the occurrence of conflicts between adolescents and parents due to lack of social skills. For instance, technology and the use of digital devices has increased anxiety and caused frequent use of pornography and online affairs that have jeopardized relationships between partners due to ease of sharing information, reduced inhibitions, and limited physical cues.
Question 2: Strengths and Weaknesses in Giving a Presentation
During my class presentations, I have always been commended for my ability to communicate in a concise, clear, and concrete manner. This is because, I have effective delivery skills, persuasion, and humor that keeps the audience engaged. However, I have been asked to make changes in relation to poor application of visuals, insufficient preparation, and use of a monotonous voice.
Question: Interesting Tips Learnt in the Course
I am confident to say that this course has been influential in that I have acquainted myself with new vocabularies and cities all over the world. New vocabularies enabled me to understand my coursework and increased my creativity. Learning new urban cities has enabled to identify solutions that can be implemented such as to improve aspects of transportation, supply network, environmental protection, and inherent connections.
Question 4: Fulfillment of Expectation.
This far, the course has fulfilled my expectations in that it has exposed me to new ideas and events that have enabled me to become more innovative and creative. For instance, the course has given me unlimited opportunities to practice my presentation skills, an aspect that has enabled me to improve my self-perception and confidence significantly.
