Thesis
While the nature of politics varies across all the regions in Canada, there is no region within the country where money does not influence how political activities are controlled. Money in politics is interlinked in Canada with credible elections and electoral campaigns because it skews the competition among different contestants. Therefore, the Canadian government ought to establish proper means of regulating money in politics to ensure the country is governed effectively. The problem with money in politics is that money can make politicians more responsive to contributors than voters, this access to legal funding can lead to temptation by politicians engaging in corruption because money in politics creates the risk of corruption.

Conclusion
Canada should recognize better ways of controlling politics influenced by finances. The country should aim at strengthening its laws to address the issues of money in politics because if it fails to regulate the issues it risks to a country with a political system not controlled by the ballot but otherwise by the influence of money
