Education and career networking
Growing up, I always had a fascination with how finance as undertaken and how it aided society. So when I finished high school, I was beyond excited when I received a call that I had been accepted at the central Washington University to pursue a degree in Bachelor of industrial engineering. The area that I wanted to specify in as I continued with my studies was in financial engineering. It involves the use of financial theories and methods of engineering, tools of mathematics, and the practice of programming. I plan to use the experience, knowledge, and skills from this degree to secure a position as a corporate financier responsible for funding the capital structure of corporations.
Currently, I am in my second year and managed to get an internship about finance at APA insurance under the discipline of capital budgeting. After completing my degree, I plan to continue in this discipline during the molding of my career. I plan to become a treasurer in my State in the height of my career.
Through my years in education and career networking, I plan to enhance my network in this discipline. Referees from my previous jobs and clientele are some of the networks that I will primarily focus on to achieve success. Several powerful communicators have lived. One of my favorite powerful communicators is Barrack Obama, who was the first Black President in the United States. Factors that make Barrack Obama a great communicator include; his body language, his voice inflection, and the gestures that he uses when he is communicating.
All of these factors aid the former president to establish a strong first impression and to sustain a positive impression. These traits enabled him to tear down barriers and build bridges focussed on the commonality of individuals which made him gain support across the diverse citizens in the U.S. He also uses rhetorical techniques to powerfully present his ideologies, as well as persuasion as a way of swaying listeners. One of my favorite quotes by the former president is “the future rewards those who press on. I don’t have time to feel sorry for myself and to complain. I’m going to press on. This statement enabled me to get the strength to move forward during my difficult time when my first business after the high school failed miserably.
