Essay On Transactional Model of Communication
I am a marketing worker at the Costco wholesale corporation. I would wish to communicate a message about the most common products this company deals with: bacon crumbles, pre-cooked crumbles, 93-inch plush bear, rotisserie chicken, and rotisserie chicken meat. In this scenario, I am the sender of the message as the one who is communicating. As I speak my message through the phone, I am engaging in the process of encoding. The channel that I am using is phone communication, which is intervened and synchronous in nature. My message involves the products and the services that Costco wholesale corporation offers to its members. An example of the services provided is the mortgage, life insurance, bottled water delivery, and auto & home insurance. The receiver of the message is the customer in the market, and they will decode the news as they listen and interpret to make sense of the communicated message. The potential causes of noise may be the poor network signal, which prevents articulation of a clear and understandable voice on the other side of the phone. The feedback that I get from the customer helps the corporation make a better market decision and retain it.
