Ethical decision making in social work -response

Dear Ja’Mond Richardson,

Dear Richardson, your discussion has clearly described the case of identity confusion, depression, and anxiety.  She experienced trauma because she experienced bullying due to her background, which prevented her ability to make new friends. Additionally, she faced family troubles in her childhood, which have increased her issues. Her case is serious as she has complimented suicide as a teen who has complicated her situation from then. In addition to your discussion, counselors who provide mental health should conduct their activities considering the code of ethics to govern their operations. As a social worker, they should provide quality and equal services to all the clients irrespective of their races, situations, and biasness, which may hinder their ability to perform their activities (Stout et al., 2020). Ethical regulations are put in place to guide the counselors as they provide therapeutic services to clients.

Additionally, different counselors adopt self-reflection and leadership while conducting their responsibilities to make sure they perform within the set regulations. Also, they can learn about different diversities to be able to do their tasks without biasness ethically. Following the code of conduct enhances the counseling process without letting differences affect the process (Banks, 2016). In addition to your project, the counselors provide adequate services when they use the guidelines to identify client issues and ensure the correct treatment, such as therapy using outlined techniques (ACA Code of Ethics, 2014). The code of conduct enhances decision making when dealing with clients to make sure the treatment is right for the mental health issue identified for real life. I second your proposition of adhering to values, principles, and standards to enhance the correct diagnosis and appropriate.
