The relationship between privacy and ethics occurs in a scenario where information or data is categorized as private and confidential and those unauthorized should not access. Besides, ethics considers the violation of the privacy rule as an immoral act (unethical). The healthcare organization applies the relationships between two concepts (privacy and ethics) in their daily operations. Healthcare staff work based on their provided ethical guidance that includes the protection of patient’s information. Professional ethics of healthcare professionals stipulates privacy as part of an essential principle that should be adhered to.
