Excel Assignment Instructions
You will use this link to find files that are the companions to the Chen et al. textbook.
If you are not experienced with Excel, there are tutorials for using the program in the back of the textbook beginning on page 271.
Module/Week 2: Excel Assignment 1—Fixed and Variable Costs
After reading Module 3 in Chen et al., page 26, complete the following assignment:
- Page 26—headed assignments
- Complete all portions of questions 1–3 using the provided Excel spreadsheet. Submit the file when complete.
Module/Week 3: Excel Assignment 2—Time Value of Money
After reading Module 6 in Chen et al., page 45, complete the following assignment:
- Page 45—headed assignments
- Using an Excel spreadsheet, complete all portions of questions 1–3. You need to create a new Excel file for this assignment. Submit the file when complete.
Module/Week 5: Excel Assignment 3—Inflation
After reading Module 7 in Chen et al., pages 50–51, complete the following assignment:
- Page 50—headed assignments
- Using an Excel spreadsheet, complete all portions of questions 1–2 using the provided Excel spreadsheet. Submit the file when complete.
Module/Week 7: Excel Assignment 4—Financial Statement Analysis
After reading Module 26 in Chen et al starting on page 252, complete the following assignment:
- On page 264- using the provided Excel spreadsheet- see Bb, complete all portions of question #2.
Submit each Excel Assignment by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Monday of the assigned modules/weeks.
