Experience on the dialectic journal
Using this mechanism was an eye-opener because I was using my thoughts on reflecting on the scholarly facts. It makes it way easier to grasp new content, for one can explore both the imaginary and structural response in the text responses. Being in a position to differentiate between two different connections make it easier to take new ideas into consideration of what one knew before reading the different article. I can say that my experience was quite educational because I was in a position where I can easily relate my thoughts and facts.
Through my experience and I also believe anyone else’s, I was using genuine responses in every text. It was either through personal reflection and other literary techniques, which through it, I was also in a position where I about how fast I can remember things from the past. By so doing, I was in a place where I knew that I could grasp a certain content and store it for as long as possible. By remembering, I mean being well observant on small details that may seem small now but come in handy in the future.
Through my dialectic experience, I can also connect various aspects connecting the differences and events on the tasks, connecting my junk food thoughts, for instance, and the biological reality. By discussing my own, though, through dialogue like interaction with the author of the extraordinary biological sciences, I was better positioned to relate my story and his point of view. Through such an interaction, I learned that the way we look at certain things, especially scientific, may not be the same as how professionals look at them.
Some of the difficulties that I came across are lacking detailed information on aspects that I thought it counts. It may also be time-consuming in scenarios where one has no idea on the topic of discussion even though we can become more creative. Some of the literature may not be close to our experiences, and in any case, not close at all. Therefore, it will make an individual read the article twice to engage in the dialogue with the author through the experiences and questions that may arise.
Comparing this learning with the normal reading, I prefer the dialectic journal learning because it is not a completely new idea. We are given a chance to reason through our experience then present to a professional who is the author in our case to double-check if we have the right idea or wrong. Unlike in the normal reading where one reads a completely new idea, this improves the chances of understanding and being in apposition to remember the content for a longer period. Lastly, I can say that I prefer the dialect journal because it is more informative than just reading new content to grasp it all at once.
In conclusion, I can say that my experience was a success and that I learned the professional views on junk food, which may not only change my day-to-day behavior but my overall view on food. However, it is a good method that instills new ideas and knowledge in a more educative way. The other good aspect of the dialectic journal is challenging the other, which is fun. Sometimes one’s experiences and thoughts may be more accurate than those in the book or the article.
