FAA origins were introduced before any other policies as well as regulations that govern air travel were formed. FAA was formed for the purpose of ensuring the security and the safety of people involved in aerospace travelling. FAA minimizes air congestion in various airspace regions to prevent accidents related to air traffic and regulates the airspace of the United Space by making sure that all the aircraft have legal flying permissions. On the other hand, ICAO was formed for the purpose of promoting efficient as well as safe civil aviation development. The organization has worked to assist states in their countries to enhance civil aviation by utilizing projects which are implemented under the Technical Cooperation Program of ICAO (Durham, 2018).
In addition, the FAA typically supports new technology implementation as well as discovery. Technology evolution in the field of aeronautics has encouraged the organization to be able to produce aircrafts that can be used in the military and commercial centres. ICAO, on the other hand, is responsible for regulating every practice operation together with the procedures that cover aviation technical field. The organization also ensures fairness in operating international airlines and reduces penalties as well as expenses.
Regulations help in improving aviation safety by ensuring that other individuals are safe through making sure that every pilot gets the appropriate licenses and certificates to fly aircrafts. The license of the individual can be revoked or even suspended provided that the individual does not meet the requirements of being licenses as a pilot. Aviation rulemaking process is generally a process which ensures that every regulatory change aspect is assessed fully before any change takes any effect. The committees of aviation rulemaking makes appropriate recommendations and also provides advice on issues related to aviation and operations in the terminal area. FAA advanced the aviation rulemaking process and also reduced the rules finalizing time frames.
