FACEBOOK MARKETING
Consider whether Facebook is an effective channel for conducting marketing research. In your answer, consider the potential drawbacks and benefits.
There are benefits of using Face book for conducting business, considering that there are more than three billion users across the globe. Facebook is an easy target for customers due to the large population globally. The social media network proves effective since it increases brand awareness since almost everyone owns a smartphone and uses Facebook. Facebook marketing is cost-effective when well initiated, hence no considerable investment risk. However, the drawbacks include slow return on investments since social media marketing is a long term investment. Furthermore, Facebook marketing is time-consuming since the users may deliberately ignore the page due to a lack of interest with the site.
What types of sampling methods can you use on Facebook?
Facebook Analytics is based on measuring and understanding the user’s actions. The analytics calculate unique values with a low error rate to improve efficiency and speed. Systematic sampling is adequate for randomly selected population members and then decides every specific case at equal intervals (Haydon, 2018). Additionally, convenient sampling is suitable to perform a power analysis to satisfy sampling adequacy for a particular statistical method.
Considering age, which are the most likely demographic segments to be targeted on Facebook?
Facebook demographics reach farther and broader compared to other social media networks. Most adults log on Facebook daily. Almost seventy-five percent of adults do not go a day without checking Facebook. Research indicates that most adults use the social network, and it is the only social network with the adult demographic segment.
