FROM KORONA VIRUS ATTACK.
Seeing this, the Indonesian government through President Joko Widodo announced the status of the spread of the corona virus as a national disaster and called on people to remain calm and follow the government’s call to work, study and worship at home. In addition, the most important thing is to do social distancing or limit social interaction and maintain distance between individuals to stop the spread of transmission. As a result, the threat in front of us can already be predicted or even seen today, namely the global economic crisis, this is because most countries have set restrictions on the space for both people and goods to and from abroad. The impact of export and import activities was stopped and of course the country’s foreign exchange income would definitely decline. In addition, the spread of the corona virus is so massive that it makes the finances of countries in the world including Indonesia experience disruption and are in an apprehensive condition, this is because most of the country’s finances must be allocated to stop the deadly virus. Not to mention the price of staples which is increasingly soaring, which is clearly very burdensome to the community. No less complicated, many people are forced to lose their jobs temporarily due to the termination of operations where they make a living. In the perspective of geostrategy or national resilience, our endurance as a nation is being tested starting from the resilience of the community in preparing excellent health conditions to defend against the corona virus, to the social and economic aspects that greatly affect their lives going forward. The combination of elements of national power, both military and non-military, is really needed to anticipate the possibility that will happen in the future. Public adherence to the government’s call to address the spread of the corona virus, as well as solidarity among fellow citizens to help each other to help and work together is needed in the face of this national disaster. But unfortunately there are people who take personal advantage by hoarding food needs, as well as health products such as masks and hand sanitizers so that scarcity occurs and then sell it at a price many times over. Crimes in cyberspace have also increased, such as the spread of hoaxes or hoaks related to the corona virus, which we encounter, causing fear and panic in the community. Not only that, there are also politicians who look for a stage in the midst of the suffering of ordinary people against the corona virus. In such a situation the solidarity of all stakeholders of this nation is needed, to jointly eradicate the spread of the corona virus as a moment of national integration to improve the nation’s condition. The government must play the role of command and front guard to fight the corona virus. Maximum precise and measured regulation is highly awaited by this nation in order to save human lives from corona virus attacks.
