Gay Marriage
Gay marriage is the marriage between people of the same sex. The homosexual couple marries and stays together to build a family. In the United States of America, gay marriage expanded from one state to another in the year 2004, and by the end of 2015, it has spread to various places in the country. Before it was implemented, it passes through state court rule, the state legislation, direct vote by the people of the United States, and genuine court ruling. The United States of America found out that when gay marriage is legalized in the country, it creates marriage equality among the citizens because all people will have the freedom to get married to whichever partner they want to stay with for life. The court recognizes that marriage is a fundamental right to every citizen, and all people should be given an equal chance and freedom of doing what they want in their lives.
The civil rights campaign of supporting marriage without any restriction started back in the 1970s, they educate people about sexual orientation, and they should stand with what they want in their lives. If they’re going to marry homosexually or heterosexually, they should decide on their own without any intervention. At that time, the supreme court of the United States of America never wanted to be involved with the agenda of gay marriage. In 1993, when the Supreme Court says that the state should abridge marriage based on sex, it becomes a big discussion among various American politicians. Many politicians try to prevent the suggestion of allowing gay marriage to be added to the law. Many said that it is against human dignity, and it should not happen in the States or any other country in the world.
In the year 2004 through to 2015, the gay marriage opinion becomes a massive campaign in America. Other American politicians take public opinion to continue moving towards supporting same-sex marriage in the country. The motion undergoes through a various state court ruling, through discussion among the state legislators, the direct vote from the citizens of the state, and the federal court ruling of allowing people of the same sex to marry. After the Supreme Court implemented it, many prominent civil movements have supported the motion of gay marriage for two decades, and they view it as equality among the marriage partners. According to the research, the establishment of gay marriage is associated with a reduction in the rate of attempted suicide among children each year in the United States of America. The research also shows that the USA is the leading country in the world with gay marriage numbers.
The government of the United States of America recognizes marriage as an important thing, and they need to bring equality among the people and make sure that all people are satisfied. Before the implantation of same-sex marriage in America, different politicians had a different argument about the matter, and they try to seek opinions from the public. The law recognizes the marriage, and the government never wanted to leave anybody outside because they are not satisfied with the marriage of the different sex. The issue of equality in marriage was a key issue that many politicians and the public accepted the matter of gay marriage in the country. They understand that the country with equality and give each citizen freedom of choosing what they think is important in their lives. After the ruling was made many gay marriages, ceremonies were a witness in the country, and all of them get an equal chance of marrying the sex partner they need in their lives.
