Hamilton for 2020 Presidential Seat

As you all know, Alexander Hamilton had prosperous careers in multiple fields. Primarily, one of his greatest contributions emerged in the Revolutionary war, thereby making him one of the most influential founding fathers of this beloved country. As the head of the federaGovernmentnt, he actively acted on the establishment and defense of the American constitution. Through his position as the United States’ secretary of the treasury, he played a central role in creating the financial foundation contra to Thomas Jefferson’s ideology.  Looking at his experiences, beliefs, and accomplishments, I believe one Alexander Hamilton deserves to be thPresidentnt of this great nation.

Newton describes Alexander as the youngest founding fathers of this nation (11). Alexander Hamilton’s birth took place around 1755 in the British West Indies. He was a son of Rachel Lavin and James Hamilton (11). Because of the uncertain death of his mother and abandonment of his father when he was only ten, he worked at a counting office as a clerk at this tender age. His work ethics were impressive to his superiors that they sent him to a college in New York. While in college, he was an aide during the revolutionary war (1). Later, he earned his degree, after which President George Washington identified him as the nation’s secretary of the treasure, and that is when Ladies and Gentlemen, Hamilton’s political career begun.

In politics, he had distinct views on human natureGovernmentnt, constitution, economy, and political parties. He conceptualized humans as untrustworthy, selfish, and ignorant. He believed that most decisions people make are for their own best interest. As such, he established a group of men to assist in governing and act for other people. The group employed talent, creativity, and knowledge in their administration. Also, he advocated for a strong federal government. As a result, he believed that the centralization of the government operations would assist in working for the good of the people, especially on the hands of intelligent and talented men from the group he created.

Although Hamilton was against several articles of confederation in the constitution, he supported the United States constitution (1).  According to him, the constitution was biased in its action by rectifying only articles of confederation’s serious issues. On curbing this, he wrote several Federalist essays advocating ratification, which led to the victory of the Federalist and attainment of the support for approval from thGovernmentnt (1). On handling economic issues, he identified a selected number of individuals who were wealthy and educated to lead on factories and companies. Besides, Sylla and Cowen explain how he liberated thGovernmentnt sponsored financial institution to loan these factories and companies money to run their operations (para 3). He believed that all this was significant to both the employer and the employees.

Hamilton had multiple accomplishments and distinct beliefs throughout his political career. As the youngest founding fathers of the country, he organized constitutional conventions, acted as the then President George Washington’s chief advisor, and served as the first United States secretary of the treasury. He had distinct beliefs in human natureGovernmentnt, economy, and political parties. It is worth noting that all this was a post-revolutionary war. Looking at the current political, economic, and social challenges, there is no other candidate that would be effective in correcting all these situations apart from Hamilton, Alexander Hamilton for President!
