Executive Summary:
The bacterium Vibrio Cholera is the causative organism responsible for the cholera disease. It is a severe diarrhoeal infection caused by the consumption of food or drinking water contaminated with Vibrio cholera (Ranjbar e.al 2011). The primary cause of cholera is poor hygiene and lack of sanitation measures. The disease is an indication of the wide gap existing in society and lack of social development. Globally, there are 1.3 to 4 million people who have cholera, and about 21,000 to 143,000 people die every year from this severe disease (Piarroux et.al 2011). Our start-up is a water research company that aims to address these types of issues that face poor hygiene and lack of cholera-related sanitation infrastructure.
