He who has the Pipeline Calls the Tune? Russia’s Energy Power Against the Background of the Shale “Revolutions” by Elena Kropatcheva
The Russian energy policy time and again has been considered in its regional context. This context lies in terms of its strength and energy power capability visa vis the post-Soviet States and the EU. According to Kropatcheva, the gas shale and oil revolutions epitomizes a global factor in terms of influence. Even though the capability of energy power policy and its consequences are unclear, Kropatcheva says that these capabilities and their strengths already pose significant challenges for the Russians in terms of their energy power and policies. I want to understand more from collective inputs from all the corners of the globe who might be working or have knowledge of how this pandemic will show effects, Energy sustainability, and Resources security. I am looking for research work on energy vulnerability (from Russia national viewpoint), although that has not been successful up to now since most research work is on energy security. Optimization of energy security-related indicators to make sustainable energy planning at the country level.
