How does Washington differ from California state in party politics?
Washing states are believed to be the home of democrats it holds the long streak of the governors who are democrats partisan and most of the election are selected based on parties. While in California the local elections utilize the primary blanket which is nonpartisan where the candidate no matter what party the can include multiple nominees in one party.
How does Washington differ from California state in the splitting power between the governor, the legislature, and the judicial branch?
The separation of powers between the branches in California state the three branches are supreme and executive power is left to the governor and the other brings persons are charged with one power and cannot exercise any other, in Washington the splitting of powers is shared between the federal and the states government where the governor might have limited powers.
What do you think might have caused those differences?
The difference in these separations of power might have been caused by the fact that Washington is Washington that hosts the federal government and some powers share with the president and he can delegate and sign some bills pertaining to the state.
