How germs spread on a plane
Germs are small micro-organism that causes some harmful diseases that can spread from one person to another. Germs mostly spread through air and they cause air borne diseases like tuberculosis, Ebola. Raymond general purpose of the speech is to inform the audience on how germs spread and how to stop from spreading (Pavia, 2007). Wang considers his audience by not only maintaining his personal space and eye contact but also speaking with a neutral accent and a fluent English. The communication process was successful since the speaker shared his speech by use of verbal and non-verbal symbols of communication such as voice. Moreover, he used gestures and drawings to elaborate his speech.
Raymond is a credible speaker because he seems to know what he is talking about. He has perfect knowledge about the topic and his understanding enable him to present his speech without difficulties (Pavia, 2007). He is passionate about the topic and the audience seem to be interested in his speech. The speech has a clear introduction where Raymond asks the audience if any of them has ever been in a plane. The body is perfect since he explain to them how germs spread by use of diagrams. In his conclusion he comes up with a solution on how to stop. The speaker maintain eye contact though out the session (Sevilla, 2018). Wang has no extemporaneous style because he perfectly understand the topic. The speaker voice is appropriately audible enough.
The speaker engages his audience in his speech by asking them if they have ever boarded a plane (Harrington, 2009). There is no evidence of stereotyping and his demographic analysis is good. In his conclusion the speaker thanks the audience for listening.
