Soak two tea bags in warm or cold water. Refrigerate the bags before using them. Place each bag on closed eyes and leave it for fifteen to twenty minutes.  The caffeine in tea removes water from eyes and helps its blood vessels. Teabags will leave one’s eyes with a refreshed feeling.

 

Apply Sliced Cucumber

 

Sliced cucumber soothes swollen eyes. However, it has to be refrigerated before applying it to the eyes. Wash your hands before cutting the cucumber into slices. Lie down for about thirty minutes and place each slice over the eyes. Its coolness will reduce eye puffiness.

 

Rinse or Wash

 

To get rid of puffy eyes associated with discharge, try washing them with cold water. Coldwater soothes swollen eyes caused by allergies.
