Political science is usually seen as a branch of knowledge that encompasses different forms of governance and political behavior analysis. Countries across the world are structured basing principles of democratic governance, thus regardless of what individuals view people might have about the state, the decisions they make tend to have an everlasting impact on citizens. The reasons as to why student to learn political science is to have them understand and deepen their knowledge on some powerful forces that shape how the government is managed. Additionally, the learner can understand how the forces operate on communities, people, and corporations in the contemporary world. For example, a student can learn relationships revolving around politics and government in the United States and the world. In this article, I intend to explain why learners must take political science and explain why the subject is so interesting to me personally.
Political science helps the learner know governmental matters pertinent to human rights. The course permits students to see and think past their underlying convictions that there is a problem with the current governments running their political affairs. As such, the subject instructs the student on key issues of the general public and enables them to take part in political matters as they can effectively utilize the energies to change the world as far as politics is concerned. Secondly, the topic of political science helps learners to clarify governmental issues in line with their convictions. The knowledge of political matters is vital as it enables one to examine the existing systems of governance, which give one a chance to find his or her political convictions. The subject empowers learners to have a chance of speaking what they accept precisely and succinctly is promising, and they can take a gander at themselves.

I came to like political science as one of my favorite subjects because I find it interesting. The topics have equipped me with the ability to critically assess and judge any statistical arguments, an aspect that is vital in modern life. It introduced me to political theory courses, which sharpened and trained me in analytic thinking. In today’s contemporary world, analytical thinking skills have been cited as very relevant in all attractive careers. The knowledge of political science has enabled me to think critically and independently, be in a position to appreciate different points of view, and update myself on current affairs on politics. Consequently, the subject is so fascinating as it has helped me know current events, and I have developed the urge to understand more about what is happening and why it is happening.
