Learning outcomes
In the business consulting course, I studied the importance of organizational culture, culture establishment, cultural typologies, approach to business consulting process, ambience to the business consulting process and accountability which is one of the steps in the business consulting process. The learning outcomes have helped me to learn and have to build my interest in organizational culture and its typologies. Corporate culture includes three perspectives such as artifacts, values and core assumptions. Artifacts in the business include the physical manifestations that include logos, dress, the language of the organization, etc. These are physical characteristics that reflect the culture. The values of the organization include the beliefs and values of the business that is reflected in artifacts (Gibson, 2012). Core assumptions of the company include the right and wrong behaviour of an employee in the organization. This is a crucial relevance that I have learned in the organizational culture as it tends to ensure about what consists of organizational culture. These concepts have positively reflected on career opportunities as an entry-level manager.
I have learned the importance of cultural typologies as they help me to build knowledge about different cultures in the organization and to work on culture fit. Culture typologies are of four types, such as adaptability, mission, clan, and bureaucratic culture. Adaptive culture exists as and when the employees consider adapting to the changing need of stakeholders and customers (Aswathappa, 2013). Employees ensure that initiatives to work towards business pace is necessary. The organization keeps in attention and has a substantial impact on the external focus and work with responsibility and authority. Mission culture is primarily characterized while focusing on a clear vision of the business and achieving the business goals (Savolainen, 2013). In this way, the members ensure business performance and get rewarded with handsome pay. The Clan culture makes sure of the internal environment and engages employees in the business. Participation and employee involvement will create a sense of responsibility and have a more significant commitment (Rodell, 2016). These learning outcomes have helped me to engage and learn about organizational culture and its typologies.
Learning enhances the practice
The learning outcome of the course has improved my knowledge as an entry-level manager. I have gained management and leadership skills while it has drastically helped me to practice self-analysis. The primary management and leadership skills have been improved with sufficient knowledge of business consulting (Zeyada, 2018). A manager should engage in an internal and external environment to ensure an effective strategy adopted for success and growth. I have learned how to apply the policy and participate in improving organizational culture. With these learning outcomes, I have engaged in learning practice and ensures that necessary skills of planning and managing the workforce is important. I have struggled to learn the concepts as several activities were provided in every lecture note, which helped me to build my knowledge and learning of the business consulting process.
The business consulting process includes 12 A’s that are attitude, aptitude, analysis, awareness, alignment, argument, access, approach, ambience, accountability, authority, and activity (Dr. Oluwole & Iyiola1, 2018). The business consulting process has helped me to gain knowledge about each concept and apply the strategies as and when required. This way, the learning outcome has helped me to ensure and practice as an entry-level manager. The learning outcomes enabled me to build my communication skills, reduce conflict resolutions, manage performance, delegate work, team building, and problem-solving attitude. I have developed these skills as these skills are very necessary while working as an entry-level manager. Managing people and work activities is an important skill that helps managers to focus on work done by others in an optimized manner.
In the class, we were given lectures regarding business consulting and we experienced that there were some activities such as working on some culture fit companies and analyzing their logos in the week activity. This activity was enjoyable as we discussed in the class about the importance of organizational culture and providing examples while analyzing and researching the company with different cultural typologies. Learning experience as per my knowledge means the learning learned from the lectures and weekly activities. This ensures that the theory that has been learned is practised in real life and has been implemented as one of the business strategies by the entry-level manager. We have a positive experience while learning in the class and engaging in group activities. It was a successful project as and when the knowledge was shared effectively. I have improved my understanding of the business consulting process and will engage in learning new aspects of the business. The learning outcome has positively contributed to advancing my knowledge and interest as I have learned the importance of organizational culture and its contribution to the company. As an entry-level manager, I will use these learning outcomes to focus on my business goal and work on mission typology.

As an entry-level manager, I will engage in the engaging audience, story-telling, providing effective solutions, X-factor and energy to demonstrate presentation. These are positive behaviours and skills that I have improved in learning the business consulting process.
