Integrating FixituP Toys Manufacture Processes with an E-Business Customer Application
Introduction
FixituP Toys Limited has been one of the oldest and top toys company in the world, is today facing a lot of problems in its operations. It is not easy for one to expect that such a big company can be facing challenges. The company’s toys production is divided into the self-assembly toy models, toy soldiers, and battle collections, and finally, the general gaming models. FixituP Toy Limited is very focused on implementing the lean principle. This principle can bring back the company to its competitive position if applied efficiently. Our team of experts will help the FixituP Company apply the Lean principles in its manufacturing sector and, more specifically, get indulged in the implementation of a customer based e-business application. This proposal will be outlining some of the significant problems that FixituP Toys Limited is currently facing. The project will also give out some of the leading solutions that our team of experts will use to solve them. It will also discuss some of the achievements that the company will achieve.
Need For the Project.
There is a need for FixituP Toys Limited to develop an E-business customer application since the project will help the company to communicate and get to understand its customers’ needs effectively. By following the customers’ needs, the production department will produce high-quality toys that are marketable in the entire world. There is also the need for an e-business customer application since it will enable the FixituP Toy Company to reach out to the world as a whole and have an accurate number of orders.
FixituP Toys Limited Company Main Problem.
In this section, we will be explaining the Main Problems that FixituP Toys Limited is currently. The company is facing many internal problems. Some of these problems relate to the toy production and supply chain of the company, which deals mostly with the buyers in from countries. The company’s internal management is also facing many problems in the coordination of the production department and the sales department.
The first main problem that FixituP Toys Limited is facing is the lack of good customer relations. In these modern days, the expectation is that a company should be able to communicate with its customers effectively. The company should try as much as possible to get feedback from its customers. By developing an e-business customer application, the FixituP Toys Limited Company will be able to counter this problem. Our team of developers will provide the solution to this by including a chat application in the e-business customer application. The chat application will help the company’s management be able to communicate directly with the customers.
The other problem that FixituP Toy Limited Company faces is that the company does not have a team of analysts on the ground to analyze the latest trends in the toy industry. This problem typically results in the group production of producing toys that customers don’t appreciate. Our team of developers will add a blog in the e-business customer application that customers will be using to post the features that they would want to implement in toys.
The third problem that the FixituP Toys Limited Company faces is the company not showing their products to the entire world. For customers to buy products from any business, they need to see the product they are buying. Our team of developers will include the eCommerce market in the e-business customer application. This feature will enable the customers to view the image of the toy they are purchasing and its price.
The FixituP Limited Company is facing the problem of not utilizing the online method of payments efficiently, and this means that for a buyer to buy toys from the company, they must use cash to pay for it. Our team of developers will end this problem by integrating the online payment methods to the e-business customer application. Some of this payment will include PayPal and Stripe payment methods, and this will enable the customers to allow toys from the company while they are In a different country.
Plan of Work
Developing an e-business customer application is similar to building a house; this means that the development of an e-business customer application needs planning. Below is a plan of how the e-business customer application development will
- occur—gathering and documentation of the e-business customer application requirements.
- They are collaborating with the different users to know what features they want to include the e-business application.
- Coming up with the design or the blueprint of the e-business customer application
- Planning and development of the e-business customer application
- Testing of the e-business customer application
- Deployment of the application.
The Expected Outcomes
At the end of the development cycle, the FixituP Toys Limited should expect a complete web and mobile application (for both android and IOS). The web application will include a Restful API that will render out data in JSON format to the mobile app. The team involved in the development of the web application will use the Django Framework (python programming language) for the backend, which will be back up with a great user experience using words such as React J.S., HTML, CSS, and bootstrap. The e-business customer application will use the Django Restful API (DRA), which will connect to mobile e-business applications. For the IOS mobile application, we will use the Swift programming language to develop it, and finally, we will deploy it in the apple store where customers will be able to download it.
On the other hand, android mobile application development will use Java and Kotlin. Finally, the deployment will be done on the play store for customers to download it. The e-business application will have features like the blog and a chat application. These two features will help the FixituP Toys Limited Company be able to interact with its customers efficiently. The applications will also provide the customers with the ability to paying for toys using PayPal and Stripe.
Reach and Limitations of the Project
There are few limitations to this project; the customers need to know how to use the e-business customer application. In most cases, not all people will be able to use the apps. Due to this, FixituP Toys Limited will have to invest heavily in training customers and advertisements. Another limitation is that the company will have to hire or train staff to use it. The other limitation is that the company will need high-security engineers to help prevent the company from cyber-attacks; this is crucial in safeguarding the customers’ details. The last challenge that the FixituP Company will face in the implementation of this project is hiring a team of experts with experience in server maintenance. The team will ensure that the servers are cooled down and will also have the obligation of removing any unauthorized users from the network.
