Interior plants or indoor plants such as Snake Plant and Bamboo Palm provide many benefits for building and people of subtle ways. They play a vital role in providing a pleasant and tranquil environment in which to move, work or relax as they can clean indoor air by absorbing toxins, increasing humidity and producing oxygen. There are many factors on why indoor plant commonly fail to thrive in the building, such as lack of light. Less amount of light may affect the growth rate of the plant, while the new leaves tend to be smaller and turn pale. Nevertheless, an excessive amount of light will cause the leaves exposed to direct sunlight to turn pale and develop faded spots that eventually become dry and brown. In other words, too much or too little light can easily stress a plant, making it more vulnerable to disease, pests, and premature death. Therefore, it is crucial to find a suitable intensity of light needed for the indoor plant to thrive without damage.

Fortunately, due to the development of fourth industrial revolution such as cloud computing and big data of analytics throughout the years, it is much easier now for any person to gather data regarding the intensity of light in certain places. The process to collect various data can be done at any time with the presence of cloud computing as the user only needs a smartphone and excellent internet connection. At the same time, Big Data and Analytics making it much easier to collect large sums of data it helps the researcher to interpret them. Therefore, to collect the data regarding the intensity of light in the building, we have decided to take full benefits from these two products from fourth industrial revolution so that we can find a suitable place for the indoor plant to be planted in the building.

A web-based interface that gives the users the information that they gather through the Android Device Sensor Application. This online interface deciphers information as diagrams and gives a choice for users to get to the information in a specific period of their decision.
