There is a need for the employees to learn to solve skills on their own. This is what makes the company move forward since it improves the relationship between them, therefore, improving their workforce. Employees need to learn how to communicate effectively and improve their skills. Having a working environment in a company that favors employees is crucial (DeVito, 2019). Hākari is looking forward to opening a branch in Japan. There are chances that conflicts among the employees is possible since they will combine people from different cultures. Some of the employees will be brought from Japan, while others will come from Japan (De-Janasz, Dowd & Schneider, 2019). The difference in culture is a catalyst for conflicts between employees.

Interpersonal communication manual on conflict resolution between employees

Interpersonal communication skills between employees on conflict resolution include;

  1. Controlling one’s emotion when resolving conflicts: there is a need for the employees to control emotion when resolving a conflict. This helps one to cool down and focus on the matter of discussion. Both parties need to communicate effectively to have their issues settled. The differences in culture may lead to conflicts; thus, employees need to cool down when conflict cases are being resolved.
  2. Being aware and respecting the differences: employees are expected to ensure that they are aware of the differences and respect their differences (Bao et al., 2016). There are differences expected regarding culture and how people handle issues between New-Zealand and Japan. These differences should be known and respected by the employees.
  3. Pay attention to what is being spoken and speak out: conflict resolution process is a tiresome and a long process that needs to be handled with a lot of carefulness (De-Janasz, Dowd & Schneider, 2019). Thus, every party should ensure that they have listened to ease of understanding and that they have spoken out.
