It’s time for part 3 baby!
I did something different for this video, instead of just making up the pose while recording. I sketched it up in my sketchbook. So this video is a sketchbook reveal, as well as part 3 of the six fanart drawing challenge. Let’s go! I said in the last episode to comment your characters to draw, and I will pick the best ones before you say that I didn’t choose your suggestion. I have to be a fan of the character’s show/game or story to do the challenge. For show/movies, I am a fan of are too many to fit. Games: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Undertale, and stories: Dingo Doodles Fools Gold DnD Campaign, Puffin Forest’s as well. I don’t know if they are stories, though. That’s it. As I’m typing this, I realize that I need to watch/read more. So Comment down below your suggestions. Let’s get into the video now. So the 5th character I decided to draw is Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer. I picked him because I like the show.
So let me show you my process in making his pose. So what I did first is practice drawing him so that I can get used to his variables I guess. Here it is. The second thing I did is think of sword poses, I thought of these four, and I decided at first that I would pick this one, but I decided to scrap that, I then thought of another pose and chose it. And the last thing I did was draw Tanjiro with the final pose. Now let’s move on to Nishimiya’s. Her’s was a lot easier to make up than Tanjiro’s. Mainly because Nishimiya is more of a quiet person, so I didn’t have to think of a “complex” pose. In contrast, Tanjiro has a Nichirin blade, and there are multiple choices to pick for holding a samurai sword which is kind of similar.
Another thing I also did was add shadow and lighting. The reason why is because my previous picks (to me) were just sloppy and lazy. I wanted to feel proud of the output of this drawing. I will redraw the others, but idk if I will make a video about it. I don’t know how to make speed paints properly. I draw what I choose to, write a script, record audio, download music or sound effects and edit. That’s it. Am I doing anything wrong? You know where to answer that question.
