John Locke’s theories and ideas were the inspiration for American founding fathers. Studies on his ideas many centuries later have shown that founding fathers such as Madison, Jefferson, Hamilton, among others, looked to John lock for inspiration. His perspective is that people’s born rights should be preserved, and the wealth in the form of property protected. Locke states that the state would aid in protecting man from the desires and will of other people. In this context, individual desires would be discouraged, and the collective desires fulfilled to make man’s life better.

In his theories, Locke insists on separating of influential powers of American’s system of balances and checks. To date, this seems to be among the significant aspect of the government. John’s idea of having one state managing many people may have been a difficult imagination. However, his ideas are evident as the American states continue growing bigger and more operational. The American congress is also related to Locke’s emphasis on legislation that passes laws and decisions, depending on the majority’s consent. However, the idea of faction explained by Locke keeps the legislation from functioning correctly. However, these factions are essential, considering the massive size of government and its electorate. Locke’s ideas were the inspiration for the warning about the tranny of the majority by Madison. Madison explained that the majority’s views are not always right and that sometimes the view of the majority should not be considered in lawmaking. Locke has been a significant influence on American forefathers. Although other writers are influential, he had the most significant impact on the foundation of America. His ideas remain valid both in the past and in the present development of the United States of America….
