Discovering and selecting a university that satisfies all of my wishes is a demanding yet exhilarating task. The University of La Verne is the best option for me, and I a superb match for the university. After visiting the campus, exploring the university Website, and reading the information booklet, I ascertain that La Verne proffers what I hope to attain from my college experience. In return, I will contribute to the university as a person with leadership attributes who grabs inventiveness and relishes partaking in school events.
For many years, I have wanted to become a lawyer, and the La Verne College of Law stands out as the most excellent institute for such training. The university’s vibrant civic and community engagement program, La Verne’s experience done throughout the academic programs while embedding its values, will enrich my student experience.
I will thrive in the La Verne experience, which will improve the compassion, creativity, and social skills developed over the years in my school experience. Firstly, as a freshman, I will have the opportunity to participate in a Community Engagement Day with my peers and faculty members. The experience will allow a seamless academic integration hence foster a deeper connection with my peers, professors which will create a strong family feeling within the school. Moreover, it will encourage me to pursue interests outside my law school.
In addition to academic breadth, there is a countless variety of extra-curricular events offered on the broader campus. I am thrilled about the invaluable opportunity to develop and grow my research skills in the university’s Law review scholarly publication. I have been part of my undergraduate school’s newspaper editorial team for two years, and I plan to be part of the member of the board of La Verne Law Review publication.
The world has fundamentally become borderless, where people require a broader understanding of different political, economic, and social cultures. I intend to engage in the school’s study abroad summer legal studies program in two or three countries approved by the university to learn about varied cultures and diversity. The experience will foster a global network for the school, and I will bring a broadened worldview that will be invaluable to the school’s multiracial community.
To help weak students improve my attitude towards school and learning, gain confidence, and improve their self-esteem, I intend to be part of the tutoring service. During my undergraduate program, I successfully tutored two students who ended up performing exceptionally well. Despite my misgivings, after being initiated in the program by one of my professors, I found myself warming up to the program and enjoyed helping someone struggling with learning. This will help promote inclusivity and a corroborative learning environment. I am thrilled to learn that La Verne has such a program because I now would love to continue with that act of service.
I have chosen to apply for an early decision to the La Verne law college, for I realize that it is the ideal university for me. An institution is fundamentally as good as the scholars who attend. As a well-rounded learner who excels educationally, socially, and in co-curricular activities, I feel that I will add to and learn from La Verne and its thriving environment. I function most effectively in a community-based setting and glean all the merits of the university’s intimate yet vibrant campus. I candidly believe that I will accomplish my potential by joining the University of La Verne.
