Leadership
In my opinion, leaders are made. Looking at society, many of the leaders are the result of previous role models or mentors. People grow emulating the behavior of other individuals around them, which is society. Therefore, it means that how close people children interact with build their character and their leadership skills. Right from the first leader in their lives, the parents and the teachers and children in school also influence a child’s mentality regarding leadership skills and techniques. How a society upholds leadership by having good role models helps children grow, gaining more leadership skills each day. A child who is likely to have a good upbringing in terms of morals and guidance is expected to make a good leader showing that a leader is made.
Response
To a large extent, I agree that a manager may look more superior and have fewer tasks to interact with the subordinate than a manager. A leader’s main target is to empower their followers through motivation and offer direction and guidance, which might not be the case with managers. They usually have people who work for them to monitor the rest of the people.
