Transformational leadership

This style of leadership requires individual to communicate, establish, and motivate his seniors for harmonious goal and vision attainment. To attain this, four specific sets of behaviour are based on which include the following; individual consideration, intellectual stimulation, inspirational motivation and idealized influence. Individual consideration is all about recognizing each individual as unique, that is strength, weakness, goal and values (Kumar, R. D. 2013). Intellectual stimulation is the ability of the leader to incorporate his/her subordinates in decision making and encouraging teamwork to attain the challenging long-term goal. According to Kumar, R (2013) they are supposed not only to help them avoid medical error but make them feel welcome and to speak out their problem. Inspirational motivation to his subordinates especially physician who is in a stressful environment that is physically and mentally taxing.

Transactional leadership

This kind of leadership is useful when motivating and guiding subordinates to complete the assigned task with minimum error possible. Contingent reward behaviour is the key factor which includes error collection and monitoring of the performance. the main aim of this leadership is to maintain the status quo and avoid backsliding.

Servant leadership

Being a servant nurse leader, one needs to focus on the success of the team through the use of an individual team member. The leader in this context target team members’ need by ensuring that they have relationship, skills and the required tools that are necessary to achieve individual as well as group goals. This skill is efficient when coordinating the team who have different task and responsibilities (Lantz, P. M. 2008).

Autocratic leadership

They are referred to as the boss in nursing. It is because they make all the decision while giving orders and direction that are specific to its subordinates on the other side discouraging dissent or question. According to Lantz, P. M. (2008), they don’t tolerate the mistake done by people either with the person who made them. This style is very useful in making sure that medical guidelines and strict legal of working are adhered to. It is also important when attending emergencies.

Unlike other industry leaders, leadership in healthcare is different in a way that most of the leaders have low openness to feedback, accountability, and in their emotional intelligence. They are most invested in lean principle they also lack certain competencies such as social awareness. It also differs in the way they communicate changes. they are good at crafting and delivering positive messages.

Transactional leadership is best to relate with. It is because it is concerned with the welfare of both the staff and the clients. When one is motivated because of doing something good, he/she tends to make it a habit. It reduces the critical errors that one makes in treating people.

INFJ-A / INFJ-T advocate personality.

Having an advocate personality calls for one to live life for others and to have an emphasis on other people. Including oneself in the rescue effort and charity work is all that an advocate leader is. From the four styles above having an advocate personality one fall under transformational leadership. For one character of this kind of leader is that they involve their subordinates in decision making, they recognize each uniqueness and accept them the way they are.

This type of personality is believed to be less in number in the population. They take steps that are concrete to realize their goal with a positive impact. Their main purpose in life is just to help other people in life. They do have strong opinions and fighting for the idea they believe. To decompress and recharge themselves they require time to be alone. Their main goal is taking care of other peoples’ feeling while expecting the favour to be returned. One of the most challenges they have is that if their zeal gets out of hand, they find themselves unhealthy, exhausted and stressed up. Despite this, they try as possible to evade such criticism in order not to find themselves in such a situation.

The test result has produced a real personality. In my life all I does is to help people, for example, a few weeks ago I assisted an old woman by helping her to cross the road. Sometimes I need time to reconstruct myself and if I don’t do so I found myself having stress and going on becoming sick. When it comes to standing with my opinions especially in a discussion, I do stand firm with my decisions.

From this information, I have discovered that my personality is living for other people. Being a leader at future I will ensure that I fit in everyone’s’ shoe so that I ensure maximums service has been offered. It has helped to understand the uniqueness of each every individual in life thus I would not be making the harsh decision and implement them rather I will be incorporating other people to welcome their opinion.
