Power and influence may seem similar but the truth is, they are different. Power is the capacity to get others does a certain task based on positional authority which is exercised over others. On the other hand, influence is the ability of a person to modify the development of others, their behavior and their thinking based on persuasion and relationship. Influence is more positive and leads to one gaining respect during leadership. Power is enforced and no one wants to be forced to act thus leads to resentment. Influence creates power where leaders can use their will over employees or their followers. Leaders make work done and overcome the challenges together with employees so that they can achieve the desired goals of an organization. Both influence and power are meant to make work done by others.
Leadership is a call and leaders should be inspirational to their employees and juniors. Effective leaders inspire movements which are only valid when people choose to move towards the same direction. Some traits that inspire others include unerring positivity in every issue. They understand what is most preferred for the future and are aggressive to work towards achieving their future.

Proper communication is also essential for inspirational leaders. Leaders should communicate in a way that they can be understood so that they can inspire others. Being passionate is one way to inspire junior workers since one puts their work as a priority. Being passionate make employees understand the importance of being aggressive in whatever they do and together, they achieve a common goal. Trust is also another trait that all inspirational leaders should have. Telling truth makes employees embrace truth in all aspect of their actions. Most employees take after their leaders; therefore good traits inspire others.
Qualities for effective leaders are several and every leader should have some of them for effective leadership. The traits include honesty and integrity. The supreme of all is integrity where leaders should be of moral sound so that they can be a good example to the other team members. They should have a sound mind to make rational decisions that can assist in solving problems in an organization. Effective leaders should be accountable and responsible for their actions so that other team members can emulate them. Effective leaders are creative and innovative. They should be committed to their work and inspire others to be like them. Effective leaders should be a good communicator and should be confident in their work for others to believe in them. Above all, they should embrace a positive attitude in all aspects.
