When people are confined in one place doing the same activities, they get fatigued and their attitude and moods may get disrupted. Leisure time is all the activities that are conducted outside the normal routine by either individual or a group of people especially the staff of an organization to break the monotony and disconnect from the same activities that may alter and interrupt their concentration. Long working hours and repetitive activities cause boredom which at the end may contribute to the low attention to details or even anger among the colleagues or amongst the partners. When people staff or people get angered the morale for reducing and they might become dangerous to fellow staffs or even to themselves. There are many benefits to leisure time, these benefits include improving the productivity of an individual and the team, leisure time reduces stress and depression. Again, having great leisure time helps in physical and mental health, it also helps improves self-knowledge.

Leisure time helps in mental and physical health.  Statistically, it has been found that people who engage in leisure activities have their minds fresh and they easily make a rational decision with getting much time. leisure pursuit is an important activity to engage in because it creates a different atmosphere fresh feeling hence boosting moods, physical capability, and mental strength. Leisure makes the work look more fun and boosts passion as well as improving job satisfaction job involvement and productive operations

 

Leisure time helps to improve the productivity of individual and member of staff. An individual can be so busy but not being productive due to the accumulation of fatigue and stress. staying immersed to the task for long creates fatigue and become prone to errors in performing the task for example calculation or attending to clients.  At such a time break is very important and if possible, one that is challenging but different from what the task is. Again, setting out the work for a while will nourish and refresh the mind hence improving problem-solving ability. For example, if the person is a fan of games like golf can go play golf to rest their minds or the organization can organize for a team-building with various activities. For example, pairing players play together can improve participation. When overloaded with a task it is the high time mind that needs a break.

Failure to make the time for oneself, stress, and anxiety kicks in and deprives the joy and the taste for worker disappears. Leisure reduces stress, depression, and other fatigue-related diseases. when the organization or an individual takes time and engage in recreational activities like swimming, golfing, hiking playing games like football they free up their mind and regain mental stability as well as for getting some job and family-related stress.
