Lesson 15
I think that the universe began through creation by a Supreme Being (God) within six days as presented in the Biblical accounts of creation. Each of the six days of creation had a different item that was created and it culminated on the sixth day with the creation of human beings from dust and consequently, a breath of life from God was breathed into them hence became a human being. The universe is too sophisticated and mysterious such that it cannot be possible that it happened out of chance or without a good reason for its existence. In this sense, the universe started out of a carefully thought out process of God who has reasons as to why the universe should exist and therefore led to its existence. In this sense, the first organisms were created by God and given the ability to procreated naturally and hence led to various other organisms like the first ones that were created initially by God. Everything that has a beginning has an end ultimately and in this sense, the world is bound to end sometime in the future. The universe in this regard would end in the manner that its creator decided it to end since He was the one who put it in place in the first instance. God created the universe and human beings in it so that they could fellowship with Him although evil got into the world and disrupted the plans that God had in place. In order to restore the world to its initial purpose, evil has to be defeated and this would entail the destruction of everything that is not on God’s side hence the end of the universe.
Lesson 16
The method that I would use to announce to the world concerning a planet that is like the earth has been discovered about a distant star and that its atmosphere contains gases produced by processes that are biological would entail making a pictorial representation (which includes its colour, shape among other features) of the earth like planet first with the various characteristics that make it similar to earth as well as the approximate distance that the planet would be from the earth as well as the sun. This would be to ensure that people are able to have a rough idea of how the earth-like planet looks like. Afterwards, I will presentation the various crucial information of the planet below its pictorial representation which will be in relation to the information of the other planets which includes the earth which entails the time it takes to orbit the sun, its distance from the sun, the method that it was used to find it, its approximate mass, the various biological processes that take place on the planet among other crucial properties of the planet. Afterwards, I would present the proposed name of the planet and consequently go ahead and make a detailed presentation to the public about the discovered planet that is like the earth. The presentation will be open-ended where questions about the discovery of the new plant like earth will be answered comprehensively and any other information needed to be presented. The information presented would be shared with any person interested in any clarification and any information that one wants concerning the presentation.
