Living as a black child has been the most challenging factor in the United States of America. The recent events of oppression that happened a mid-COVID-19 pandemic, where many African Americans in the Minneapolis demonstrated against the killing
of the black people, the white police. I reflected on the issue of how the African American people fought for the freedom and equality of civil rights after American independence and during the times’ pf Martin Luther King Junior and Malcolm X.
In American history, the most amusing thing I had is of the whites enslaving the blacks, owning them, and working for them. With the recent development, life has changed for the
black people, and they are now able to own the land build, farm, start businesses, and compete with the whites on the market. It is a development as in the olden days, African Americans were never allowed to own land nor business. Historically, they were believed to be primitive and could not think on their own.
Furthermore, the black child education campaigns have been improved with reports from the census proving the improvement of the African-American people
completion of the education at least high school and the higher. The black child was never allowed to attend school, or rather they were discriminated in schools, and they would never be allowed to share such institutions with whites. This historical prejudice affected the interaction
between the races. Though recently, I find it easy for African Americans, Asians, Native Americans, and the Hispanic students to share places, living in the same apartment with limited feelings of the suspicions. This is only happening in this 21st century, where campaigns have resulted in great improvements.
