I concur with you that medical and nursing practice have differences, but they both promote quality healthcare (In Renton, In McGuinness & In Strachan, 2019). Medical nursing deals with illness or medical condition as nursing practice deals with humans’ response to potential health and life processes. Medical practice demonstrates diagnosing patients and prescribing medicines for them, while nursing is the act of guiding people to solve their health problems (In Renton, In McGuinness & In Strachan, 2019). For instance, educating patients on their health issues like preventing diseases is nursing. The community nurses try to know health problems that people live with and advocate for their help through quality improvement initiatives. A physician tests a patient for diseases, and once the disease is identified, he/she prescribes medicines for them and urges compliance. Therefore, nursing practice is wide than medical practice, but they both aim to promote healthy lives.
