Moral Criticism of the market” Ken S. Ewert and Arthur C. Brooks
After reading Ewert’s article, Arthur C. Brooks’s commentary on the market’s moral criticisms, they reason that the free market is either moral or immoral. Whether it is moral or immoral is a human emotion since the free market doesn’t have feelings than it can’t be honest or wicked (Brooks, 2017). Ewert uses Christian and secular critiques. The secular left after experiencing multiple failures in the anti-free market policies; however, they decide to apply something new. We can’t blame the market for our spending behaviors (Ewert, 1989). In this case, I agree with Ewert and Brooks. Even if the bible is not direct to approve free-market economic, it talks about work and freedom, caring for the poor, and wealth.

From Ewert’s article, I agree with the critique of the free market system. The author was right. The key points outline that the free market concedes individuals to engage in their exclusive goals and priorities amicably but fails to determine those priorities. In the free market system, there is space for morality. It concedes with personal thinking and decisions. (Ewert, 1989)
Ewert has explained that it is a sin status of the Human heart of the ones inside the economic system that motivates and demotivates evil. As a result, evil will survive regardless of the economic system organized by command. I agree with Ewert’s position to be right (Ewert, 1989).
I admired the way Ken S. Ewert connected advertising to the lapse of man in Eden’s garden. Our capability to admit obligation resulting from our actions has a considerable impact on our economies and communities’ moral status. His community relations and economic policy appeared to be reasonable. The commercial relationship arrangement cannot be made morally without the knowledge of both entities (Ewert, 1989).
