Moral Dilemma
Moral Dilemma – Presentation. Using the same moral dilemma, you will create a presentation, which you will submit on the course website by the due date in the “course Schedule.” You also will be assigned a Unit during which you will share your presentation with the class. As quickly as possible, the professor will review topics submitted by students and will assign a date for each presentation. The professor will create a Presentation Schedule so you will know when you will share your presentation with the class. At your assigned time, you will share with the class by uploading your presentation to the Discussions area of the course website. The presentation should include: 1. A basic overview of the dilemma 2. A discussion of the issue(s) involved 3. A presentation of Quadrilateral sources you engaged while reflecting on the dilemma (reason, religion, traditon, experience) 4. Discussion of modes of reflection you used when considering the dilemma (Teleology, Deontology, and/or Areteology) 5. Your suggested steps for action 6. Discussion of why you have chosen your suggested action steps. 7. Works Cited Your presentation should last from three to five minutes. Your presentation must be based on a written outline in or with the file(s) you upload. An effective way to do this is to prepare a PowerPoint file and a separate audio file. The PowerPoint slides are your outline, and the audio clip is your oral presentation. I recommend the PowerPoint method, but you may use other methods so long as your fellow students and the professor can view and hear your presentation. To prepare the audio file, you may record the oral portion on your Smart Phone or computer and upload the audio file in addition to the PowerPoint slides. I included the previous paper just in case so it can be used as a reminder in what was written.
