Motor development is defined as better coordination of muscles, which results in the possibility of physical movement. The motor skills of most children develop in the same order and at the same age. These skills appear to be pre-programmed genetically in all children that most psychologists accept. Newborns exhibit various motor reflexes, including seizures and breastfeeding. Children can also smell, touch, taste, smell and see, and their sensory abilities develop quickly. However, the environment has a significant influence on development, and an enriched environment generally reduces learning time and an impoverished environment increases.

The researchers mainly used mature genetic development and programmed growth to explain the development of fine motor skills. Agility, balance, coordination, and speed (ABCs). These skills are all connected to the development of the central nervous system of the child. As the child grows up, the CNS starts to adapt and prepare for ABCs. So when a child tries to chase the ball, his or her legs starts to balance and can be able to coordinate with the brain to show which direction he or she can take the ball. The other thing is speed. As a child develops, he or she may not be able to run fast since he or she has not developed the right balance. So mini soccer will help the child run against his opponent. At first, he may be able to run and fall, but as times goes by, he or she can be able to adapt.

The second motor skill that can be developed through mini soccer is hopping, Jumping, galloping, skipping, and dodging. These skills are always present in mini-soccer. The child will slowly learn how to dodge an opponent which are essential for developing the decision-making skills since he or she has to think swiftly to prevent the opponent from getting the ball. Galloping and skipping are another special developmental adaptation a child develops. These skills cannot be gotten in a normal day to day activity since the soccer game has other children. They can earn from one another in case the opponent falls, and he or she has to jump to prevent stepping on him or her.

Thirdly the throwing and catching skill. Since mini soccer times involves throwing and catching balls, play resumes with the throw-ins and all players must learn to do so. And goalkeepers, a position that almost all children play in the early years of the game, grab the ball with their hands and pass it on to their teammates and the ball. The child can be able to use his hands to develop such skills. This will help in making their grip firmer and also learn directions since throwing involves choosing directions.

The other skill that is developed using mini soccer is the ability to track objects. Since the ball moves from one player to the other, the child must locate where the ball is to pass it to his or her team member. The child’s ability to follow movement and estimate speed and distance is not “easy”. As with motor skill, they must be developed through real experience and practice. Soccer is a great experience because the game often challenges players to measure the speed, distance and image of the ball.

Another part of the body competition that is often overlooked is the ability to “read the environment” and respond with the right decisions. In the old days, it could mean climbing a tree as soon as one sees a lion. In the context of a game like a soccer, the child decides to pass the ball to a teammate to open the room or score when the goalkeeper is out of position. The game constantly creates new cognitive challenges that force players to collect information about their physical environment, analyze that information, and react accordingly.

The field of developmental psychology attributes its success to two psychologists, Jean Piaget and Erik Erikson, who influenced the study of child development through various ideologies. Piaget based his research on cognitive development, which focuses on how children acquire knowledge based on their environment. Erikson, in turn, focused on emotional development, transforming Freud’s psychosexual development into psychosocial development. The duo’s studies contain some similarities and contrasts based on their reflections on various aspects of child development.

Piaget’s sensorimotor development phase is important enough to start development. He describes this time as a time of great growth and change. At this stage, children discover the world around them and acquire knowledge through their senses. The first stage of Piaget’s theory lasts from birth to about two years and focuses on the child who is trying to understand the world using the senses and skills with which he was born. One can easily work on sensorimotor development. Activities that different objects can help children differentiate toys by colour, size, shape and other sensory details. Another activity would be the use of the engine to promote the development of the sensorimotor. Erikson theory starts at the age of twelve of a child. There is also a contrast with Piaget’s cognitive theories and Erikson’s first four theories. Erikson puts two aspects of a child’s development, for example, opposing trust and mistrust to the way they are built as the child grows. Piaget, meanwhile, provides an overview of aspects of child development. Piaget and Erik Erikson were among the founding fathers of several theories that served to explain a child’s development from a young age to an older age. The pair helped to expand theories of the process of adaptation, assimilation and accommodation. These psychologists grouped their theories into passages. The stages showed the children’s development in stages. However, both were opposed to the way they focused on the stages and how each stage had its goal in child development. Both psychologists place more emphasis on a child’s development as a step-by-step process. Piaget believes that a child’s development goes from one stage to another. He considers that the first phase of child development is the sensorimotor phase. This is followed by a specific preoperative and final phase and, finally, the formal phase of surgery, characterized by formal reflection. Likewise, Erikson explains a child’s development in stages and groups them into eight stages, starting with confidence vs Distrust and dismissal with integrity vs Despair. Psychologists also agree that a person’s environment plays a crucial role in their development and that a person’s development continues into old age.
