Moving on to the last part of my lesson plan, which is the specific learning outcome.
Firstly,
- At the end of the class, all students will be able to differentiate the sounds of vocals in English to pronounce words correctly.
When pronouncing certain words, there will be silly mistakes, or we are unfamiliar with the pronunciation because we believe that as long as the choice of words suits the context, it is all okay. NO, it is wrong to think that way. The activities help students be more familiar, and there is a fact proven that whenever we use the word more than five times in different contexts, there is a high chance for us to remember the meaning and spelling of it. Nonetheless, that is why I put all students will be able to achieve this target.
- At the end of the class, 5/10 total amount of students will be able to use their critical thinking in their responses based on their point of view towards the topic.
Appointing an opinion could be risky if we do not know the right way to channel it. For example, using incorrect words could mislead the information. It is a good step to use critical thinking to voice your opinion, but it is a must always to review your content before speaking out. That’s why there’s a term think before you speak. The total number of students in this objective is quite low because not every student can catch up with the learning process. Some of it might take some time to understand the context clearly.
- At the end of the class, 2/10 total students will be able to use correct and grammatical ways to respond to enhance their understanding of the topic.
Last but not least, before ending up my presentation for my lesson plans, here are the last specific learning objectives. A lower number of students are expected to achive this part because learning grammar will never be easy. Some times even the experts also make a mistake when speaking or giving out speech. They might understand the total context but give feedback using the perfect, and no grammatical error responses are quite hard.
That’s all from me. I hope you will have a good day, and thank you for sparing your time listening to my explanations.
