Nursing informatics is the combination of information science, computer science, and nursing science which is built in a way to assist in the processing and management of the nursing data and knowledge and information to give support to nursing education, research, practices, and administration. Computer hardware is the physical components that make up a computer and have a significant role in the nursing informatics. Clinicians use computers to enable them to quickly access data about a patient’s illness. Nurses record the information about a patient and the treatment they are given to enable them to track the progress of the patient and to enable the information to be easily available for other team members of the medical facility. I choose the computer hardware since it is largely used by clinicians in their daily to daily operation in the medical facilities and are of great importance and largely effective in ensuring that the operation of the nurses is efficient.
