Nursing Satisfaction
This unit seeks to address several areas of concern in the nursing industry. Following this, the unit aims to identify the critical areas which should be treated with a degree of urgency. One of the critical areas is the recruitment and retention of registered nurses. The issue with the processes of recruitment and retention of nurses is that most of them do not last for more than six months after orientation. The other area of concern focuses on the patients. The safety of patients comes before anything else. This is an issue because there is a report of errors during their medication due to poor nursing. The complaints by patients demotivate the staff. This is an issue that requires urgent attendance because when the staff is demotivated, the patients’ outcome is compromised. Below is a summary of all the area of concern that should be attended immediately
- Patients’ safety and satisfaction
- Recruitment and retention of RNs
- Staff demotivation
- Patients’ outcome
