Objectives And Motivations
Promoting learning and better comprehension of new concepts remain critical goals of teaching. As a teacher, it is important to be objective and highly motivated to achieve the core goals of teaching. Among the critical objectives that I hold on to, are listed below.
To unleash a positive learning environment for all learners and better their academic performance. New concepts can only be better grasped when relayed under a conducive and welcoming environment.
To encourage creativity, student behavioural and academic development by instilling intrinsic students motivation to learn.
While being objective alone does not serve to realize the core goals of teaching. Being driven by passion and highly motivated is key to actualizing the above objectives. The joy of teaching is enough to keep one highly motivated. Sharing knowledge to shape your students future and eventually make a difference in their lives is not only rewarding but a key driver in realizing the above objectives.
With a commendable academic background from Kenya and excellent ability to adapt to new environments while being flexible and with insatiable zeal to learn, since I would wish to make the most out of this program. I hold bachelors of arts, education- English literature specialization. The entire learning process and having satisfactorily completed teaching practice as a prerequisite before graduating have immensely contributed to my development journey.
The thought of acting as a cultural ambassador is among the reasons for joining this program as this provides a platform for learning and connecting with other people cultural traditions while gaining valuable ideas. Further, accessibility to cutting edge teaching technologies through this program will be invaluable in my teaching career development. Finally, sharing knowledge with the core goal of shaping someone’s future and making a difference in their lives while getting an opportunity to learn more and connect with other cultural traditions is indeed invaluable.
Building a long term career plan as a teacher in a position full of opportunities for career growth while keeping up with cutting edge teaching technologies is a career goal that I yearn to accomplish. By joining this program, standards will be set and pose a great challenge in my teaching career that eventually will make me to continuously strive to be better enough to accomplish my career goal.
