organizational culture variables that are sensitive to employees

Organization culture is a key data needed to be examined purposely to improve employee retention. Examples of organizational culture variables that are sensitive to employees are leadership and work engagement. Employees merit an organization’s culture than engage them in the decision-making process as they present their grievances and also vote work policies that result in mutual benefits with the management (Wan & Shang, 2018). On the other hand, the employees’ work satisfaction increases when an organization leverages a democratic leadership style.

Secondly, compensation data avail fundamental information that affects an organization’s retention rate. Employees are motivated to work for companies that avail lucrative wages and salaries. Higher wages and salaries enable employees to meet their needs: basic and security needs (Cullen & Perez, 2018). As a result, the employee morale and sense of belonging increase when an organization compensates them lucratively due to their input value in the creation of goods.

Work policies also serve as input data useful for improving employee retention ratio. Work policies are guidelines and procedures adhered to during task execution. Favorable work policies that improve retention are teamwork, work brakes, unpaid leave e.t.c. Thus, an organization with effective work policies reduces employee turnover.
