Organizations are adopting new ways of technology
- Organizations are adopting new ways of technology and security education so that it can handle incidents and breaches. Across organizations, user education has become a necessary component of training and learning because trained and aware employees are more likely to protect sensitive information. They can attempt to prevent all forms of cyber-attacks. In security education and training courses, it would be feasible to include topics such as malware, phishing, BYOD, social media handling, and mobile security. Employees must know about ways of protecting sensitive information and data so that they can prevent attacks and threats from hacktivists. Employees must be trained on an annual basis so that they do not feel pressurized or overwhelmed with training procedures. Organizations often provide training on a monthly basis, and employees might fail to cope with the training schedules. At our organization, we focus on providing the best training at an interval of six months.
- Companies are now severe about offering technology and security-related training. Through the education programs, employees can stay aware of the upcoming or any suspicious attack. Training can increase the knowledge of employees. They can quickly identify cyber-criminals. They are less likely to become victims of the attackers. In security education programs, the topics that should be included are awareness about the authentication process, removable media, passwords, phishing emails, and various aspects of security components. Employees must know about phishing attacks as well as malware issues. The newly hired professionals are more at risk, and they must receive training early. It would be reasonable to provide training less frequently so that employees can cope with the lessons. They must be able to implement the knowledge gathered from training and security education. Firms to provide training often use the JIT approach. At our firm, we focus on retraining activities, and we have launched an ambassador-training program for employees.
