Orientation training
Orientation training is vital to every employee belonging to different organizations. However, in my case, the organization I work with did not carry out orientation training. I feel there is a need for the organization to start orientation programs for their new employees. The reason being that it has many advantages to both the organization and the newly employed individuals. Through the training, they will gain precise information about the organization to help them develop a positive attitude towards their job and organization. Besides, they will effectively adapt to the organization’s standards, thus able to work comfortably without being stressed. Also, the orientation training would help new employees have a better transition into the organization since they would have learned essential details about the organization and their jobs.
Additionally, organization training is equally important to both the organization and the employees. Through training, employees get new skills and experience of performing tasks; therefore, increasing productivity. The action benefits both the employees and the organization since employees would gain new technological skills leading to improved quality in their work; equally, the organization realizes increased productivity that yields high profits to the organization. Besides, organizations can evaluate the effectiveness of their internal training program by assessing the results of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of every employee. They can as well as carry out observations on how the employees perform their jobs.
Furthermore, there are developmental opportunities that I can help me get promoted at the workplace, such as requesting more duties. As a result, the manager would see me as a hardworking employee who qualifies for a promotion. Similarly, professionally doing activities would be of help since I would be exhibiting professional skills such as leadership, communication skills, and problem-solving techniques. They are important to every leader in an organization as they make them effective and reliable..;;
