A concern may arise amongst parents if their children, instead of learning arithmetic or history, only speak English. Parents may assume that when learning in English instead of their mother tongue, a lot of information is left out and children would not grasp as much as they would if taught in their mother tongue for their better performance in labor markets. A trade-off seems to be present in this issue. A study in schools in Cameroon that teach in Kom and those that teach in English was done and its results showed that those learned in Kom outperformed those who learned in English.
Discussion.
From the reading, the costs of electricity have generally dropped because of the several types of equipment used in solar energy conversion into electricity. It is safe to argue that with new technologies to convert the solar energy to electricity being researched and developed, this means that the solar energy would be more efficient and reduce the costs of electricity even further. Although, this argument is not very solid because there is an assumption that the equipment and new technologies won’t be expensive to run. But if solar power proves to be more cost-efficient, then the argument that investment into the Solario company should be encouraged is highly reasonable. This is also because the Chief Executive Officer of Solario, the solar-powered products manufacturer company has a good track record from his previous post in the financial planning team. This is a use of evidence to show that he/she is capable to enable the prosperity of Solario company which if run well, will help in more production of better equipment that will in turn help in solar energy efficiency increase and overall cost reduction.
