Why do you think it matters so much to people that others agree with them about things they believe to be relevant?
The idea of what people think about is one of the new fallacies. People are often concerned about what people think about them based on their beliefs. Different people have individual believes about some things they believe to be necessary, such as faith and so on. The above question tends to examine the reasons as to why people are usually concerned about what other people believe in.
This question makes us start focusing on the concept of self and others-perception. The self-view is better described as the internal landscape, while the others-view is well known as the exterior landscape. Every individual is required to make a balance of what he or she thinks about self and how society views the individual. The interior landscape represents the subjective experience of an individual while the exterior landscape comes as a result of a worldview to an individual. However, the big issue is the reason why people care about other people’s believes.
Lastly, in many instances thinking about other people’s thoughts or believes is not a deliberate process. It just comes due to the communal setup and the closeness of people in society. However, on other occasions, circumstances may make an individual think about others’ believes. For instance, in a friendly setting, a friend may try to care about the thoughts and beliefs of his friend. When people care about the feelings or welfares of others, it helps to give the worldview of a person, which in many cases seems to be real than self-perception. This is because; self-view is usually corrupted by ego. Additionally, getting to know the thoughts of an individual will make an individual help a colleague in case the views are a product of stress. In the school set up, students are often encouraged to care about each other during the learning process for them to help one another when there is a need.
