Performance Evaluation
It is worth a significant investment in performance evaluation as it helps in highlighting the weak areas that need improvement for enhanced productivity. However, it is indicated from the case study that the employees hate performance evaluation as the process tends to take a more subjective approach that does not favor them (Lussier, & Kimball, 2020). To counter this, Maverick decided to use an objective approach. The advantage of this move is that it helps in complementing the positive attributes of the employees while trying to find a means of capitalizing on the weaknesses with the aim of turning them to strengths. The benefit that this could yield is that it will lead to improved organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity (Bauer, Short, Erdogan, & Carpenter, 2017).
