Physical Exercise
Introduction
Physical exercise is any bodily activity that influences or maintains fitness of the body, health, and wellness. Physical exercise can be practiced for various reasons, including assisting growth, improving the strength of body muscles, and lowering the rate of aging. Therefore in this paper, I will analyze how physical exercise influences well-being and recommend a behavior associated with physical activity that can improve personal well-being taking an example of running exercise.
Benefits of physical activity
Running is a physical exercise that influences wellness in brain functioning, emotional and mental health, and physical health. Physical fitness exercises help strengthen bones, creating a healthier heart and muscles (Moon, 2017). It can also help in developing movement skills for kids and maintaining a healthy weight of the body. Physical exercise improves wellness by helping relieve some long-term pain conditions by keeping physical function and reducing fatigue. In brain functioning, it helps in widening the hippocampus size, which is a brain organ involved in learning and memory. It improves motor skills, better thinking, and improved learning to people who have regular moderate exercises. Lastly, in emotional and mental health, physical exercise enhances wellness as endorphins, which are produced by the brain during physical activities, improve mood, energy levels, and sleep (Sivaram, 2019). All of these positive influences assist in enhancing self-confidence and resilience. Physical exercise can reduce anxiety, improve relationships, and also an image of the body for those who have regular exercise.
Running is an activity that is aerobic and improves cardiovascular function and overall health and wellness to those who have it regularly. Running is recommended as it mitigates the risk to a variety of diseases like cancer and many other mentally, physical and emotional benefits.
Conclusion
In conclusion, physical exercise is an essential factor for the well-being of people both for physical health, emotional and mental health, and brain functioning. Running is a simple physical activity that I can recommend as it keeps one safe from diseases like hypertension and cancer and maintains physical, emotional, and brain fitness of an individual.
