A prospective strategy in planning for care involves preparation for issues that may arise and affect the facility and the entire health care field in the future. I will employ this concept in planning for the future in my academics and even in my career development process. In academics, planning my time well to deliver assignments on time is very crucial because it would determine better scores in the final examination. Taking time also to set goals to be achieved at the end of the academic year to ensure I excel in my course also require proper planning. Making projections of what I want to achieve at the end of the course, I am undertaking is important because it creates a direction for studying, and it will also help me focus and remain on track.
When I was assigned the data collection and analysis assignment, I found it more crucial in developing my skills. The assignment also helped me gain experience in the performance of my tasks in the future. Data analysis specifically is a very important aspect in the planning for care process because it forms the backbone of the entire process. It is from the data that the financial projections are estimated for the near future; human resource is also regulated by the data on the number of patients and what care they need. The data provided helps in planning on the allocation of caregivers to patients in the health facility. I want to learn more about hospital records because for any planning to be done, there is the need for learning about past trends. As much as the future is not always predictable, it is important to find out how the past activities were happening and try to predict how the future may be.
