Methods of Definition
Forgiveness is “the act of ceasing to feel anger towards someone or something or to stop blaming them.”
The dictionary defines forgiveness as “the act to stop requiring payment owed by another person (Merriam Webster Learner’s Online Dictionary).”
Biblical forgiveness is seen, “when God sacrifices His only son Jesus Christ to save the whole universe.”
Differentiation; Connotation
Paragraph one MOD; Appearance. This is when the lord demonstrates the people’s sin using the word scarlet, a brilliant red color, often likened with blood.
Bible Passage/Verse: Matthew 6: 14-15 “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”
Paragraph one MOD; Effect This verse illustrates the effects of various actions
Evidence; Bible Passage/Verse: Ephesians 1:7. “In him, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.”
Paragraph two MOD; Connotation: The act of connotation happens after God forgives the sins a human being. Human beings receive redemption and transform into new creatures.

The Biblical and dictionary definition of forgiveness is similar. The dictionary defines,
“forgiveness as the act of letting go of the anger towards someone,” and the same is found in the
Biblical definition, “which teaches the importance of forgiveness and letting, go off all bitterness, anger, and wrath towards other people.”
